Ogilvy Brisbane bolsters creative department with two senior hires
Brisbane, October 17, 2017: Building on strong recent agency growth, Ogilvy Brisbane has announced two new senior hires, significantly bolstering its creative team. Andy Geppert joins as Head of Art and Richard Taylor as Creative Director.
Geppert and Taylor commence their new roles effective immediately, working across a number of the agency’s key accounts, including Neds, University of Queensland and Queensland Government. They will guide an already strong creative team, working alongside the agency’s senior leadership team comprising ECD Phil Nobay, Managing Director Ben Lightfoot and Strategy Director Ewen Pettit.
Executive Creative Director Phil Nobay described the appointments of Geppert and Taylor as a huge win for the agency and its clients.
Nobay said: “We've invested heavily in smart young minds that keep us ahead of emerging trends and technologies. Now Andy and Rich will play a vital role in ensuring this diverse, integrated team puts craft and innovation at the centre of everything.”
Having previously held the roles of Founding Partner at Cummins, ECD at McCann, Senior Art Director at Publicis and Head of Art at Clemenger Brisbane, Geppert brings a wealth of experience to Ogilvy Brisbane, having worked with heavyweight clients such as RACQ, Tourism Queensland, BUPA, Sanofi, Virgin, Air Asia, Bank of Queensland and Weis Ice Cream.
Prior to joining the Ogilvy team, Taylor had consulting roles at M&C Saatchi, WhiteGREY, and DDB in Sydney. He brings network agency experience from Australia, Europe and across Asia with brands including Volkswagen, Mazda (Europe), Toyota, Samsung, LG, Qantas, Korean Air, Comm Bank, Braun, Proctor & Gamble (Global) and GSK.
